Tapersawn Shakes

หลังคาไม้ซีดาร์ (Cedar Roof) เป็นไม้สนที่นำเข้าจากประเทศแคนาดา เป็นไม้จริงที่มีความแข็งแรงและมีความทนทานสูง ทนความชื้นได้เป็นอย่างดี และ มีความสวยงามเหมาะกับหลังคาที่ต้องการความเป็นธรรมชาติ และที่สำคัญสำหรับหลังคาไม้ซีดาร์ (Cedar Roof) คือ วัสดุที่เป็นไม้จริงจึงทำให้ไม่ร้อนและระบายความร้อนได้เป็นอย่างดี และ ไม่สะสมความร้อน

หลังคาไม้ซีดาร์รุ่นผิวเรียบ (Tapersawn Shake) หลังคาไม้ซีดาร์รุ่นผิวเรียบ รับประกันวัสดุ 30 ปี จากผู้ผลิต ความยาวไม้ 18 นิ้ว หรือ 45 ซม. ความกว้าง โดยเฉลี่ยแต่ละแผ่น 4-10 นิ้ว หรือ 10-35 ซม.
ลักษณะของเนื้อไม้จะเป็นไม้ที่เป็นสีต้ำตาลแดง (Western Red Cedar) และเมื่อติดตั้งแล้วเนื้อไม้จะออกเป็นสีเทาเงิน ไม้จะเริ่มเปลี่ยนสีโดยประมาณ 6 เดือนเป็นต้นไปและผ่านการอบน้ำยา CCA เพื่อทำการรักษาเนื้อไม้ให้คงทน ไม้ให้ผุกร่อน และ ป้องกันแมลง

Tapersawn Shakes

Tapersawn Shakes are sawn on both sides giving it a look similar to a sawn shingle but with a thicker appearance, Tapersawn Shakes are known for their smooth uniform imposing look providing an exceptional looking roof. All Tapersawn Shakes come in 18” lengths with a butt thickness of 5/8”.

All Products can be Kiln Dried, CCA Treated

•  Just like handsplit and resawn shakes they are available in a #1 grade which allows a minimum of 80% edgegrain and maximum of 20% flatgrain or a #1 premium grade which must be 100%           edgegrain.
•  Available in 18 inch lengths and thicknesses from 5/8 inch to 1 1/8 inch.
• The exposure to the weather varies with each length or desired architectural appearance.
• Tapersawn shakes can offer a thicker shadow line than a shingle, while still enhancing a tailored, smooth style.
• When producing tapersawn shakes it is easy to hide defects such as knot shadows and flatgrain. Unfortunately some manufacturers allow these types of defects..

หลังคาไม้ซีดาร์รุ่นผิวคลื่น (Handsplit Shake) หลังคาไม้ซีดาร์รุ่นผิวคลื่น หรือ เรียกว่า หลังคาไม้ซีดาร์รุ่นผิวธรรมชาติ รับประกันวัสดุ 50 ปี จากผู้ผลิต ความยาวไม้ 18 นิ้ว หรือ 45 ซม. ความกว้าง โดยเฉลี่ยแต่ละแผ่น 4-10 นิ้ว หรือ 10-35 ซม.

Handsplit Shakes

Handsplit shakes have a split face and resawn back.       

Naturally hand-split then re-sawn, this will provide both a flat lying roof and a rustic appearance to further compliment your project. All shakes come in 18” lengths with a butt thickness of 1/2”, 3/4”and beyond.

All Products can be Kiln Dried, CCA Treated

• Shakes are available in a #1 grade which allows a minimum of 80% edgegrain and a maximum of 20%        flatgrain or a #1 premium grade which must be 100% edgegrain.
• Available in 18 inch lengths.
• The exposure to the weather varies with each length or desired architectural appearance.
• Shakes can offer a natural, rustic charm.
• 59 shakes are graded in compliance to UBC 15-3 and CSA 97 standards.
• All shakes with a #1 label are guaranteed to contain 80% edgegrain in every bundle.
